Applications open for Bush Regenerators
The Lord Howe Island Board has multiple full-time opportunities for Bush Regenerators to join a small close-knit team.
In this role you will work towards maintaining World Heritage and Permanent Park Preserve values and aid the conservation of native flora and fauna.
As a Bush Regenerator, you will conduct essential weeding through efficient grid search and control of weed infestations on Lord Howe Island, with the aim of eradication. With guidance from the Team Leader and Field Supervisor, you will work in accordance with a defined plan, strategy and policies which support restoration outcomes.
This role is physically demanding and requires work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and terrain, including dense vegetation and at elevation.

You can persist with sometimes repetitive tasks and enjoy the outdoors.
You have good attention to detail and adhere to relevant WHS guidelines.
