Lord Howe Island Board are hosting an Open Day event on Wednesday, 4 October from 10am-12pm at the Community Hall.

O-Day will bring together residents, incoming hospitality staff, and visitors to learn about the role of the Island’s various organisations and its unique environment and culture.

Information stalls will be set-up by community organisations and businesses, including the emergency services, Marine Parks, Hospital, churches and community groups. Here, you can find out about caring for LHI’s natural environment, community values, and recreational and volunteer opportunities.

There will be music, a BBQ fundraiser by the Nippers, games, and prizes to be won, generously contributed by local businesses.
