Community members are invited to share their feedback on design concepts for the LHI Skatepark project. 

A short online survey is open until Sunday, 17 December. You may also choose to submit more detailed thoughts to the Administration team via email: [email protected]. 

Community vision shared at design workshop

Representatives from specialist design agency Convic were joined by members of the Skatepark Committee and the community on Wednesday, 15 November for a design workshop and site walk. 

Different designs were discussed that could benefit all levels of users, while having a unique Lord Howe-feel. The logistics of construction and challenges of building on the Island were also talked through.

The site walk brought to life the concept of blending the Skatepark into the existing landscape and helped the group visualise how natural features like trees could become part of the design.
