Update on Birdon Voyage B176

LHIB has received notification from Birdon that Voyage B176 will depart on 5 June (arrival 7 June).

Please note that Voyage B176 will carry only essentials and undamaged cargo. No fresh or frozen goods will be transported on this voyage.

Birdon have advised they will be unable to accept any new sea freight, including general, fresh, or frozen cargo until 6 June 2025. Due to flood damage, the Birdon warehouse remains unable to receive new cargo, and cold storage services are unavailable.

LHIB will continue to monitor biosecurity risks during this period. The Biosecurity team will adjust their operations and continue to conduct essential inspections on all freight transported from the mainland to the Island.

Birdon have advised B177 will proceed as planned (departing 12 June).
