Results of Local Board Member Election

The Local Board Member Election took place in the Community Hall on Thursday, 15 February. 

Subject to appointment by the NSW Government Minister for Climate Change, Energy, Environment, and Water, the elected candidates are:

  • Robert Jeremy
  • Therese Turner
  • Matthew Retmock
  • James Lonergan

Meet your newly elected representatives

The term of the previous Local Board Members ended on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. Upon appointment, the newly elected members will serve another 3-year term.

We encourage community members to attend the morning tea at the next Board meeting on Wednesday, 20 March to chat to the newly elected Islander Board members and stay on for the open session of the meeting.

Open sessions of this year’s Board meetings will also take place on 22 May, 21 August, and 27 November 2024.
