Expressions of Interest now open: Join the Community Environment Advisory Committee (CEAC)

LHIB is inviting community members to express interest in joining the re-established Community Environment Advisory Committee (CEAC). This committee will play a vital advisory role on key environmental issues, including biosecurity, land management, the Biodiversity Management Plan (BMP), and the Permanent Park Preserve Plan of Management (PPP PoM).

The CEAC presents a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the Island’s environmental future and ensure that community perspectives are reflected in decision-making. Whether you're a long-term resident, business owner, a conservation advocate, or simply passionate about Lord Howe Island’s unique natural heritage, we encourage you to apply.

If you’re interested, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form available on the website.

Expressions of Interest close on Monday 2 June 2025.
