About the role

Based locally, the full-time role develops and implements the Board’s Asset Management Plan, to ensure plant, built assets and service infrastructure is safe, operational, and well maintained. 

The Team Leader Asset Management ensures provision of relevant services to the community and visitors and contributes to the conservation of the natural environment of beautiful Lord Howe Island.

About you

The role requires a proven track record in planning and managing people and tasks in an operational service delivery environment.

Your communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders are vital, and you excel leading a team. 

Your ability to navigate complex problem-solving while adhering to tight deadlines and budgets is enhanced by adept information technology skills.

Your core capabilities include self-management, leadership, collaboration, planning, critical thinking and aligning present and future goals.

Essential requirements

• Current driver’s license.
• Relevant qualifications (Trade, Business, or Project Management) and/or or extensive experience in a similar role.
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) – applicants for an ASIC undergo a Criminal Check, a Politically Motivated Violence Check, and a Citizenship Status Check.
