Applications open for LHIB Senior Project Officer Infrastructure

LHIB is seeking a locally based Senior Project Officer Infrastructure in a temporary opportunity up to four years in length. 

Applications close at 11.55pm on Sunday, 12 November 2023.

About the role
You will be the Board’s principal project officer in a program management team that is charged with delivering a long-term marine freight service, waste management facility upgrade, and improved biosecurity infrastructure. 

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to legacy infrastructure for the protection of LHI’s environment and provision of services to the community and visitors.

About you
You’re an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with key stakeholders and understands the value of their local knowledge. 

You enjoy gathering data, and presenting information and advice to decision-makers. 

You thrive in a fast-paced busy environment with changing priorities, with an organised yet flexible approach. 

You take initiative, manage your own time and strive to deliver results. 

You can exercise confidentiality when dealing with sensitive topics and can build trusted professional relationships.

Essential requirements 

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
