The Lord Howe Island Board has completed a section of road works at the northern end of Lagoon Road and progressed work along Mulley Drive.

The works have improved the road surface and drainage in both areas, making them safer and more comfortable to use for everyone getting around the island.

Further works are planned for the northern end of Lagoon Road next week, weather permitting, followed by general pothole repairs around the island. The Board will inspect the road network in late July or early August to identify the next priority sections.

The Board thanks residents for their patience while the works were underway and acknowledges the field officer staff who carried them out.
