The Lord Howe Island Board has been working with NSW Government agencies over a number of years to implement a formal property addressing system for the Island.

This notice is provided to let the community know that the work is continuing. The Board is currently awaiting the final property identification list from NSW Spatial Services. Once received, this list will be loaded into the relevant government systems.

The Board will issue further communication when the addressing system is publicly implemented, including information on how residents can confirm and use their assigned address.

Formal addressing supports access to a range of services, including emergency response.
