A lance spot spray operation was scheduled to occur this winter to treat priority weed species in hard-to access locations.

Unfortunately, the weather conditions required for the transit of the aircraft were not identified during the operational window, and operations have been postponed until further notice.

These operations are subject to strict environmental constraints, including seabird nesting and weather.

Helicopter winch operations are planned for the southern mountains in November 2026. More information on these operations will be provided closer to the date.
