The Board offers for sale by tender the following surplus plant and equipment:
- One (1) Manitou Telehandler
This item is offered as is, where is. Inspection by appointment can be arranged through Ms Kate Dignam A/Manager Technical Services, phone 02 65632066 Ext 19. The highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This item is disposed of with any faults, at the buyer’s risk. Buyers are to rely on their own inquiries regarding the condition and workability of the item.
The successful tenderer will require LHI Board approval for transfer and use of the Manitou on the Island in accordance with the LHIB Vehicle Importation Transfer and Use Policy. Alternatively the Manitou must be removed from the Island within two months of purchase and must not be used prior to removal. Buyers are to arrange their own freight ex Lord Howe Island.
Tenders clearly stating the amount tendered (inclusive of GST) and the name, address and contact details of the tenderer should be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Manitou Tender” and be placed in the tender box at the Board’s Administration Office or posted to Lord Howe Island Board, PO Box 5, Lord Howe Island NSW 2898. Tenders will be accepted up to 4pm on Friday 23 August 2013.
