Lord Howe Island residents can now enjoy a local ‘Island Computer Hub’. Residents are welcome to drop in or stay a while and enjoy a casual, relaxed and informal atmosphere whilst receiving expert assistance in developing their computer skills from an experienced and qualified trainer.
Receive individual training in the Microsoft Office Suite, basic computing, emailing, web browsing and photo editing. Assistance can be also be provided for document preparation, job applications, CVs, resumes, advertising and discuss the latest computer news and technology updates.
The computer hub is open each Wednesday from 5-26 June at the Lord Howe Island Central School from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Free of charge but donations will be accepted.
