Election of Local Board Members Notice

The term of the four local Board members expires in February 2015.  Consequently an election will be conducted.

The election will be managed by the New South Wales Electoral Commission (NSWEC), with a Deputy Returning Officer being appointed from the Board’s staff.

A person may be nominated as a candidate if the person is an Islander and is entitled to be enrolled as an elector for the election.

To be eligible to vote a person must be enrolled on the Port Macquarie State electoral roll and reside on the island, with the person’s address on that electoral roll being an address on the island.
