Craig Wilson - Elected Islander

Craig Wilson is a fifth generation Islander.Craig Wilson

Craig completed his schooling at Lord Howe Island Central School including high school through Sydney Correspondence School.

Initially he worked on Lord Howe Island, mostly in tourism, including owning and running a glass bottom boat.

Subsequently, Craig lived and worked on the NSW Central Coast for 11 years while his children were at high school.

Since returning to Lord Howe Island, Craig has held positions as Controller for State Emergency Services, as Chair of the Lord Howe Island Tourism Association, and has served on the Bowling Club Committee.

He is currently the manager of Wilson's Hire Service and Rural Fire Services Captain.

Craig has also been a member of the organising committee for Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race.

Craig is serving his second term as an elected islander on the Lord Howe Island Board.
