Economic Evaluation of the LHI Rodent Eradication Project

The Economic Evaluation of the project has now been complete. The study undertaken by Gillespie Economics compared proceeding with the REP to continuing with the current rodent control. Key points from the report are that:

Wind Turbine DA - Exhibition Period Extended

New Airport Terminal Project

A new Airport Terminal for the Island is planned for construction during May to September 2017. This is a joint project between the Lord Howe Island Board and Infrastructure NSW.

Proposed Wind Turbines Development Application - On Exhibition

The development application for the Lord Howe Island Hybrid Renewable Energy Project, Stage 2 - Installation of Wind Turbines, is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days, from Friday 16 September to Friday 14 October 2016.

The exhibition period has now been extended until 28 October 2016.
