STRONGER COUNTRY COMMUNITY FUND
The NSW Government has announced funding for Round 4 of the Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF). This round of the SCCF will provide funding to regional NSW community projects that enhance female sporting facilities and increase female participation in sport as well as for general community amenity and sports-related infrastructure projects.
The Board and community organisations have been successful in receiving funding in previous rounds of the SCCF. This has funded projects such as the old powerhouse amphitheatre, upgrades to the bowling club and golf club, and the foreshore fitness trail.
Round 4 applications are open to both local government and to community organisations. Community organisations are encouraged to apply directly for funding. The Board will also be considering a number of projects for submission. Suggestions for Board projects are welcome from the community.
Information about the program, eligibility and the application process is available at https://www.nsw.gov.au/regional-growth-fund/stronger-country-communities-fund
An information session will be held at the Community Hall at 11am on Wednesday 19th May. Community organisations and individuals are encouraged to attend and discuss project ideas and potential applications with the Board Administration. For further information please contact David Waterhouse on 6563 2066, extension 29.
Note that applications for SCCF Round 4 close at 12pm on Friday 25 June 2021.
