Position Vacant - Team Leader Biosecurity

The Lord Howe Island Board is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to apply for a temporary position as Team Leader Biosecurity.

Please summarise your relevant skills, qualifications and experience and address the key knowledge and experience as outlined in the role description, include your CV and any relevant additional information.

Please address the two questions (see below) and keep your application to a maximum of 2 A4 pages. A suitability assessment will be completed for successful applicants.

Targeted Questions:

  1. Please provide an example of how you have planned for and responded to complex multi tasked project or a biosecurity threat. What were the major challenges and what did you do to overcome them. What was the result?
  2. A large portion of the role will be communicating, informing, consulting and engaging with our small community of Island residents, businesses and external agencies regarding biosecurity. Explain your approach to providing innovation, leadership and disseminating information to the community to ensure success of the island’s biosecurity goals.
